The founders of the NHPNA initially created this action coalition so that "the quality of life in the area shall be in keeping with the social,
environmental, cultural and historic needs and interests of the residents." To accomplish these important goals, the Association designs
activities to sponsor "cooperative planning, research, fund raising, and public education programs as they
are deemed necessary." The foundation for these collective efforts are based in the NHPNA volunteer program.
Consider the talented individuals who live within our neighborhood. Living next door to each of us are excellent painters, landscapers, planners, developers, dentists, doctors, advocates, teachers and more. By pooling our collective skills, we can easily overcome the minor challenges facing area residents.
