National Night Out Contest [details]
Set aside two hours on the evening of August 6th to attend a Caribbean family outing at SY Jackson. Meet friends and neighbors who are working to improve the quality of life in our neighborhood. Win cash for our association!
Project #2: Neighborhood SignsOur neighbors to the east, in the Glenwood Hills area, have installed attractive signs designating their neighborhood region. We believe this would enhance our community as well. We have about 7-8 entrances to our neighborhood. We would need to consider whether each entrance should have a sign or just some of them. We could look for sponsors who would "adopt" a sign to help cover costs. What are your thoughts?
Project #3: Upgrade MediansAt our last meeting, May 14th, the membership expressed their desire to upgrade the medians on Montgomery Blvd. Councilor Payne acknowledged the need for this neighborhood improvement. Which do you prefer: A or B? Lend your voice to our effort. Use the information in the Contact section to send a note to your representatives. Not only will this improvement help beautify our area, but the increased foilage will help reduce traffic noice on Montgomery. Act today! |
